It was a beautiful, crisp Autumn Sunday in the scenic hills of Northern New Jersey... and our team just took in a wonderful day of riding, celebration and fundraising, all perfectly organized by the Care Plus Foundation in support of Care Plus NJ, a leading provider of comprehensive, recovery-focused mental health and substance abuse services. |

This was the 1st Annual Care Plus Ride for Wellness, held in Mahwah NJ. Proceeds from this event will help individuals build a better life for themselves and their families.
The Care Plus Foundation, founded in 1998, is a non-profit corporation committed to building a brighter world for those suffering with mental health issues. The Foundation supports the programs and services of Care Plus NJ through public education, program development, community relations and fundraising.
Care Plus helps individuals achieve life goals by providing scholarships, access to medicine and housing. The Care Plus programs are also designed to increase awareness and understanding of important mental health related issues.

There were different routes to choose: 50, 25 or 10 miles, appealing to all levels of cyclists, there was even a Training Wheels & Trikes Ride for whole families to join. The ride directions were very well marked with plenty of fully stocked rest stops along the way to enjoy.

After our fun ride, there was a family picnic with great food, music, face painting, clowns, games and smiles all around! A big thank you to all at the Care Plus Foundation! |
