Keeping the ingredients mostly raw (90% as roasted cocoa beans are used) allows the bar to retain naturally occurring enzymes. The chocolate bar for example consists of only dates, almonds, walnuts, cocoa, cacao nibs, and cashews (all organic). In addition the company buys their coca and coffee from Fair Trade farmers.
The bar is said to soften but not melt in warm temperatures. The texture resembles that of a brownie and flavors are strong and pleasant. The orange flavor for example tastes like a sip of fine orange liquor (also without the guilt of course). |
